We're a young & passionate married couple who happens to film incredible Weddings together. We love witnessing, being part of a love story and creating a visual representation of that warmth between one another. Once A Blur officially launched at the start of 2022. Since then, its been such a remarkable experience for the both of us and for each & every single Wedding we've filmed so far. We're beyond grateful for the past, present and ultimately future clients who entrust us with capturing their special once-in-a-lifetime day.

We ourselves got married. We know the process of it all: waiting, booking vendors, the emotional rollercoasters, the challenges & sadly the stressful decisions to make... but we also know the excitement of planning, having your vision come to life, the happiness and overall fulfilling moments to experience when it's finally "The Day". We desire to create an unforgettable experience when it comes to Wedding Videography. Something personable and that shouts "Oh my, I loved our Wedding Day!", "I totally forgot that happened during reception!", "I can't believe how beautiful our details were!" and so many more moments and memories that will be passed down through generations.
We're beyond passionate in this industry to create unique & timeless films. Something that's romantic and elegant, like a fairytale of your own. What started as a secret passion, soon turned into an unimaginable career as a young woman. Filming the in-between moments that captivates the heart of many from an event of a lifetime. She loves the details, the heartfelt moments, and most importantly creating films that ultimately become a heirloom to reminisce about. The connection, perfecting each clip, and dedication to her couples are one of her foremost qualities when it comes to Once A Blur.
In her free-time, she loves to thrift, travel, visit new cafés (matcha & coffee type of gal), cook meals, attend church, and make their remodel-of-a-project house into a cozy home.
MIKE
#1 SUPPORTER, HUSBAND, DRONE-EXPERT, EARL GRAY FANATIC
Since getting married, Mike has been a huge advocate for Emily. He truly encouraged and stood by her side during the whole process of launching Once A Blur. Mike assists Emily with second filming, styling, posing, creative scenes, seriously spectacular drone shots, carrying gear and so much more. He also eases the nerves and the atmosphere while working day of and somehow becomes best friends with all the guys and guests at Weddings. He is such an essential part of the business.
In his free-time, he loves to go fishing (whenever he has the time between remodeling and his day job as forman for roofing), spend time with family & friends, and when it comes to relaxing at home, he loves eating food and watching tv shows.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT
OUR LIFE TOGETHER
When we're not filming Weddings on the weekends, editing on the weekdays, answering emails, networking and growing our business, we're usually resting, remodeling, seeing our family & friends and most importantly going to Church. Our faith in Jesus and glorifying Him in everything we do is our top priority. Being kind and loving in a World that can be so hateful and dark, we know change starts with ourselves. And if we're able to share a glimpse of that light and the amazing day-to-day things that the Lord has done in our lives... What more can we ask for?
One of our biggest milestones together (besides getting married in June '21) has been being homeowners since February '22. We've been slowly making it our own cozy little home. It's a long and time consuming process for sure but seeing how much we've done over the past few months, it makes us super grateful to be able to own our little home (especially when the market has been at its peak). Another little surprise/milestone about us is that we're expecting our own little bundle of joy! Very soon we'll be a family of three (or maybe four, including our kitty lol).
We're also HUGE foodies, it's probably our favorite thing to do together. Whether it's trying new recipes, visiting different restaurants in different cities, or going back to our roots of our culture comfort food (we are both Ukrainian & Russian), we just indulge and aren't shy. We also have a fur baby: her name is Phoebe and she's a tailless (well, there's a little nub/poof at the end) little kitty (we're 99% sure she's a Manx breed). Adding onto her uniqueness, she has six fingers on each front paw, five on each back paw and LOVES belly rubs (she's like a dog, no joke). Overall, she's our perfect editing & cuddling companion.
